I’ve been doing a lot of self improvement training, and I keep seeing the same theme over and over again.
I’ve struggled in the past with coming up with affirmations to adopt every day.
All the experts clearly agree, affirmations are a great thing. Everyone should totally be using them as often as possible.
This site and my vision for it seems to be an almost living organism, it’s evolving so fast.
As I continue down this path I find I’m not satisfied with just a blog. I don’t really want to just lecture people from behind my little laptop every day.
I want to interact!
I’m going to go a touch off the deep end here guys, but honesty is the best policy right?
I don’t believe in New Years resolutions. There, I said it.
Self Care Matters, do something every day to take care of your mind, body and spirit.
List out what you can do to nourish yourself and then plan time and commit to it. Every single day.
Inspiration comes from funny places.
I was watching the Walking Dead yesterday (NO spoilers ahead, I promise!) and there was this scene with King Ezekiel that inspired me.
My wonderful 5 year old niece, Lucy needs glasses. Poor kiddo got my moms eyes and will need to wear them full time.
Hanging out at the eye doctor with her was a blast. She try on every kids pair in the place, and some adult ones.
Being 5 she wasn’t worried at all about what anyone else would think about them. She wasn’t thinking about if one color or another would clash with some of her clothes. She just went from pair to pair, either making “ick” faces or smiles at each.
I tend to be harder on myself than anyone else in my life. Don’t get me wrong, I love myself plenty, I’m just not good at forgiving myself.
Happy Holidays! I’ve honestly been struggling with if I should even post this one of not. I don’t generally participate in political type debates, and firmly believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
However, this one issue crosses over with the things I talk about here enough that I thought it was worth a go.
